We've tested a few different climbing knee-bar pads out here at Mountain Equipment and we have to say that the Red Chili Kneerock is pretty freaking good. It totally nails the flexibility and dexterity you want to just be able to climb uninhibited, but also the grip and protection - which is why you wear a knee pad in the first place. 

The Red Chili Kneerock knee bar pad was developed in conjunction with Kim Marchner and features a 2mm RX1 rubber with a non-slip neoprene body. The fastening system is symmetrical and achieves total snug security without being bulky at all. The knee bar pad is a must for all modern sport climbers and boulderers and adds a valuable tool for some great test pieces out there.
